Welcome! Whether you're a musician, visual artist, writer, or any other kind of creative professional, this page is designed to help you understand how we can begin working together to build a portfolio website that truly reflects your work.

While my portfolio specializes in composer and musician websites, I am fully open to collaborating with clients across disciplines. If you’re an artist, educator, or freelancer looking for a professional and accessible space to showcase your work online, please fill out the following form with details about your website.

How to Begin¶

To get started, here’s what I’ll need from you:

1. Contact Information and Bio¶

Your preferred email address (for contact forms and metadata)
A short (1–2 sentence), medium (1–2 paragraph), and long (full page) biography

2. Portfolio Content¶

Depending on your discipline, this might include:

For Musicians: - A full list of works with titles, instrumentation, and year - Audio files (MP3/WAV), scores (PDF), and embedded videos (YouTube/Vimeo) - Program notes and tags for filtering (e.g., string quartet, under 10 minutes)

For Visual Artists: - High-resolution images with captions or descriptions - Artist statements, CV, and project documentation

For Writers: - PDF files or links to published works - Excerpts or full text of selected pieces - Descriptions or commentary if desired

For Others: - Project photos or documentation - Description of your services or work process - Any media or links that support your portfolio

3. Visual Identity Materials¶

Headshots or photos
Preferred fonts and color palettes (HEX or RGB values preferred)
Logos or branding elements (if applicable)

4. Additional Resources (Optional)¶

5. File Format & Naming¶

To keep things organized:

Use folders by category (e.g., /Photos/, /Scores/, /Audio/)

Label files clearly:

Clear naming helps ensure your materials are integrated accurately and efficiently.

What Happens Next¶

Once I receive your materials, I’ll:

Organize your assets into a site structure
Begin drafting the visual layout and functional components
Share mockups and request feedback
Build and deploy your site using MkDocs (a modern static site generator)
